Spring flowers and green grass have burst upon us finally! It’s time to enjoy the season with creative outdoor projects. A beautiful garden with stunning clusters of color gives your home enhanced curb appeal, so plant now for dramatic impact throughout the summer. Choose plants at the Petals for Pets Sale May 8 and 9, benefitting the West Suburban Humane Society. For details, see page 5. Barn Owl Garden Center in Carol Stream has green houses loaded with annuals and perennials, plus colorful hanging baskets just in time for Mother’s Day.
