A “Zero Waste Lunch” is a lunch that generates no (or very little) trash. In a zero waste lunch everything can be eaten, reused, or recycled. Rich Rahn, owner of It’s Our Earth in downtown Wheaton, is a master in recycling. He has many suggestions to ease the burden we’re putting on our planet. Starting a new grade, new school or moving to a new city can bring a flurry of anxieties to both kids and parents. Signs can be as mild as homesickness, crying when getting ready for school.
