If you’ve ever been in charge of a fundraiser involving custom screen printing for your group, you know what a challenge it can be. Choices of multiple designs, sizes and colors make orders complicated–and collecting money due is time-consuming. Action Screen Print in Warrenville has a solution to make group orders and fundraising projects a breeze.
Action Screen Print is introducing Shirt & Simple, the first completely online tool for custom ordering screen printed items. The system, invented by local entrepreneur George Pfeiffer of Lisle, allows groups to design, customize, order and pay for merchandise online. That way, no one person gets stuck with the stress of organizing a big order, or chasing down collections, according to Pfeiffer.
Pfeiffer has a wealth of experience with custom orders. As an RA at University of Iowa he organized multiple shirt orders, and found that the collections aspect was especially stressful. Determined to streamline projects, Pfeiffer developed the web-based order system over the last 2 1/2 years, and has completed more than 1500 orders successfully.
“People want to work with a local company,” says Pfeiffer. “Action is a perfect partner to introduce they system locally because they’re close by and do quality work.”
Alan Arrighi, owner of Action Screen Print, is enthusiastic about the program. “Shirt & Simple is a tool we’re pleased to offer our customers to make their jobs easier. School groups, churches, and businesses will be able to direct members to a website to order and pay for merchandise.”
